Robin Rex Meyers, born in 1952 in Oklahoma City, is an American Christian minister, peace activist, philosopher, and author known for his contributions to progressive Christianity and social justice. Raised in Wichita, Kansas, he was influenced by his father, Dr. Robert Meyers, a former Church of Christ minister who became a Congregationalist pastor after advocating for desegregation.

Meyers earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wichita State University in 1975, followed by a Master of Divinity from Phillips University in 1979. He further obtained a Doctor of Ministry from Drew University in 1981 and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric from the University of Oklahoma in 1991.
