Introducing Howard Newton
Howard Newton, born on March 16, 1982, in London, England, is a retired Guyanese international footballer known for his versatility as a winger. Throughout his career, he played for numerous clubs across various leagues. His early years saw him with teams such as Sutton United, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Wembley, Hitchin Town, Staines Town, Epsom & Ewell, Dagenham & Redbridge, and Harrow Borough. In 2010, Newton ventured abroad to join New Zealand's Hamilton Wanderers, contributing to their league victory. Upon returning to England, he continued his career with clubs including Bromley, Metropolitan Police, Tooting & Mitcham United, Chipstead, Winchester City, Walton & Hersham, Egham Town, and South Park. On the international stage, Newton debuted for Guyana on February 22, 2008, in a 2-1 friendly win against Cuba. He earned a total of 10 caps for his national team between 2008 and 2012.
